Pros and cons of Export My Contacts app for iPhone and iPad

Export My Contacts app good for

It does what I need it to do and quite simply. One needed improvement is an "Uncheck All" option when building the file to export. I only needed to export 2 fields from my contact files. There is a step where all fields are displayed but also all checked by default. I had to uncheck 80 fields in order "select" my two I wanted. Would be faster of course if I could uncheck them all and then only check the two I need. Other than this it worked really well for my project.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This worked just as I needed it to. When I got my new phone, a setting was wrong and when I added contacts to my phone they werent syncing. This gave several options for saving formats and several options for sending/exporting.

Some bad moments

Cant even give it one star. Exported then tried to import into new phone. Gave me blank names and info - but same count that I exported.
Therefore its easy to transform 300 contacts into an outlook file, the result is a zip file. I have no idea how to use this zip file, its not possible to send it via email to your PC although there is a dedicated email button. by pressing that button nothing happens - unusable!
Interesting app but email function on iphone 6 (ios 9.1) fails completely. Wish I could be refunded.
The interface is simple and sending the VCF file via email is easy. Unfortunately the VCF file is missing information from the notes field in my current iOS iPad Contacts.
The exported .csv file is not recognized by the Address Book as a valid .csv file. It worked as advertised, then never again.
This app worked just as advertised. It exported all of my 200+ contacts from my iPhone 4 to a single .vcf file (actually via a zip), which I was then able to easily import (via the apps file transfer upload option in iTunes) into my old iPod 4. I was also able to email the vCard vcf to myself which I couldve also used to import to any other iDevice. It even copied and preserved all of my custom labels for phone numbers and appears to have copied postal and email addresses fine. The only thing lacking is that it did not copy my Notes field for each contact. Please add that to a future version release... Still this is a 5-star winner! Whereas the iTunes "sync" process had completely screwed up my contacts on my iPhone (it isnt "smart") which had forced me to Restore from a Backup, and had screwed up my Windows Contacts folder, this app was a gem and did everything I needed. I spent hours over the past few days reviewing a couple of dozen apps in the Apple Store that advertised to do this type of import and export, and despite other negative reviews, I settled on this one. I dont know if the free version works just as well, or if this app would handle Contact lists over 500 or over 1000, but it worked quick and smoothly on my 200+ contacts. The user interface could be a bit easier to use (the Next buttons dont really give you a sense of where you are in the Export or Import process and what step is coming next), but the menus and options were clear and I had no problems getting it to work the first time. When I get my new iPhone 5 and new iPad 4 this app will make it a breeze to import all of my contacts from my iPhone.
